My favorite Christmas gift last year was one that I bought for myself: my adorable new slippers from Simple Shoes.

My Layaway slippers from Simple Shoes are anything but yawn-inspiring. I settled on the blue pair and, though they were a splurge at $60, I feel like an eco princess every time I put them on my feet.
