The title says it all.
On November 24th the U.S. Public Interest Research Group announced its 24th annual Trouble in Toyland report, a resource for any parent who plans to tuck a truck or a doll under the tree this year.
In a world of toy recalls, the Trouble in Toyland report, along with a new interactive tool accessible via smart phone or computer, helps parents and other consumers avoid some common hazards, including among others toys that can pose a choking hazard, toys that contain lead and/or phthalates and toys that are loud enough to pose a risk to little ears.
This report provides safety guidelines for parents when purchasing toys for small children and provides examples of toys currently on store shelves that may pose potential safety hazards.
