Sometimes this girl just needs a healthy snack, and when I need it I need it now.
Organic fruit is always a great choice but the fear of squashed banana in my wallet makes tossing produce into my bag a dicey proposition.
At the recent Justmeans Social Media for Sustainability conference here in San Francisco, the yummy swag bag attendees were given contained Organic Granola Bars from Nature’s Path and I have been packing them in my purse ever since.
I love the Apricot & Nut flavor, which is made completely of organic ingredients like rolled oats, brown rice flour, evaporated cane juice, dried and roasted hazelnuts and coconut. The bars are wheat-free – great if you are on a gluten-free diet – and have low sodium and zero trans fats.
They are also 100 percent vegetarian, produced without using any ingredients sourced from meat, fish, fowl or eggs, in accordance with the company’s philosophy.
Oh, and they are delicious, for kids and adults alike.
Nature’s Path Organic Granola Bars come in five flavors and retail for under $5 for a box of five bars.

I sampled one of these bars recently while on a hike in Marin. The thing I really like about them is they are not too crunchy. They are more crumbly. Great to hear that they have low sodium and zero trans fat!
Thanks this was a good read
