Organic beauty often comes with a hefty price tag, which is why I was tickled to find that the selection of Physician’s Formula Organic Wear makeup continues to grow at my local drugstore.
Finding moderately priced eco-friendly makeup is hard enough, but finding truly eco makeup in your local drugstore was next to impossible until recently. Organic Wear, which offers a full line of organic, non-toxic products is available at Rite Aid and Walgreens and other national chains.
The products, which include tinted moisturizers, blushes, bronzers, lipsticks, eyeliners, powders and other goodies, start at about $7 and are completely free of synthetic additives, GMOs and parabens. Made from certified organic ingredients, the line is cruelty-free. Even their biodegradable packaging is made from corn-based bio-plastic.
Plus, the recycled paper compacts are decorated with a leafy print for a simple but attractive package… just like a good eco girl.
