
I am a juicy lady. Veggie juice, fruit juice or a combination of the two, I love them all.
I am a big fan of juicing at home and an even bigger fan of the health benefits it brings. Since my lovah gave me a juicer for Christmas, I have used it several times a week and haven’t had a single cold or flu all winter. I’m convinced my good health is thanks to all of the liquid chard I ingested this winter.
While I do find it convenient to drink some of my veggies, it is time consuming to clean the juicer when I am done. On a recent jaunt through The Food Emporium, I was thrilled to discover Earthbound Farms’ Organic Carrot Juice. It is 100 percent juice, just like I make at home, with no added sugar.
Carrots are one of my favorite veggies to juice because they are sweet and nutritious. Carrots get their orange color from beta-carotene, which the human body metabolizes into Vitamin A. They are also full of dietary fiber, antioxidants and minerals and are great for digestive problems and constipation. In short, they are little orange powerhouses.
My favorite on-the-go juice-tail? Earthbound Farms carrot juice, with a splash of orange or grapefruit juice and a squeeze of ginger juice. (I put a chunk in the fine side of a garlic press.) Enjoy!
