Bright Lights, Small Electric Bill

Now this is a bright idea: landscaping lights that are powered by the sun. They spend all their time hanging around outdoors anyway so why shouldn’t they be powering up at the same time?

The Solar Charged Accent Light features six white LEDs that stay bright up to 10 hours at a time. The lights, which are great for illuminating driveways and walkways, charge using a built-in solar cell by day and automatically turn on at night, so you’ll never leave your guests in the dark.

The lights, which retail for under $18 each, are available at ThinkGeek.

  1. An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

  2. Very nicely said.I came across your article from Bing and found it helpful. How long have you kept the blog?Just the other day I recently created a blog myself and its been a really fun process. I’ve met some interesting people since then but it is hard work at times! Once again, thanks a million for your post!
